Launch with ZEC backed by oil

Every coin here is priced in energy
What ZCrude isZCrude is a launchpad you pay for in Zcash. Send ZEC, get a live coin. It trades on a curve that holds a tokenised energy asset: USO, XOM, or a fixed mix of both. Every buy puts that asset into the curve. Every sell takes it out. Nothing else stands behind the coin, and nothing more is promised.

What a curve can hold. Two energy assets, alone or together.
How it works
Pick USO, XOM, or a basket of both. Name your coin, then send ZEC to the address shown. No wallet to connect. The coin launches by itself, usually within about 15 minutes of the payment confirming. From then on, buyers put the energy asset into the curve and take it out when they sell. You keep 2% of every trade.

Every rule, written plainly. Nothing hidden in the small print.
What the curve does. And what it does not.
“Backed” means the curve holds the asset. It does not mean a coin is worth the asset, or worth anything.
On backing
01 / 06
USO tracks oil futures, not spot crude. Rolling those contracts costs money, so USO can fall behind the price of oil over time.
On USO
02 / 06
XOM is a tokenised share of Exxon Mobil. It moves with the company, not only with oil.
On XOM
03 / 06
A basket unit is minted 1:1 against fixed amounts of its components. Its holder can redeem it for those components.
On baskets
04 / 06
A USO coin graduates to a Uniswap pool. XOM coins and baskets stay on their curve for good.
On graduation

Nothing here is insured or guaranteed. A raise is not a promise.

FAQ
What does “backed by oil” mean here?
The coin’s curve is denominated in a tokenised energy asset. When you buy, your USO or XOM goes into the curve. When you sell, it comes back out. That is the whole claim.
What can a coin be backed by?
One asset: USO or XOM. Or a basket: the ready-made Crude + Major (USO 50, XOM 50), or your own mix of the two. A basket unit is a token minted 1:1 against fixed amounts of its components, and redeemable for them.
Is USO the price of oil?
No. USO holds WTI crude futures and rolls them forward. That roll has a cost, so over time USO can trail the spot price of oil, sometimes by a wide margin.
How do I launch, and what does it cost?
You pay in Zcash, and there is no wallet to connect. Name the coin, choose the backing, and send ZEC to the address shown; the amount is shown before you send. The coin launches by itself, usually within about 15 minutes of the payment confirming. If the payment is short or never arrives, the ZEC is returned to the refund address you gave. After launch the founder keeps a 2% creator fee on every trade of their coin.
What is graduation?
It depends on the backing. A coin backed by USO alone graduates to a Uniswap pool once its curve reaches the threshold, and trades there from then on. A coin backed by XOM, or by a basket, trades on its curve for good; there, graduation means the raise target was reached and the founder’s accrued 2% becomes claimable.
Can I get the asset back?
Sell the coin and the curve pays you in the asset it holds, at the curve’s price at that moment. Basket coins sell back into basket units, which break into their components.
Is any of this guaranteed?
No. Nothing on ZCrude is insured or guaranteed, and a coin can go to zero. A raise is not a promise. Trades are signed from your own wallet; ZCrude never holds your keys.
